My name is John Ducas and I am a young investor and entrepreneur with an interest in the fields of finance, business, world affairs and technology. I began investing with real capital as a teenager, gradually developing my knowledge of the financial world alongside my academic studies. At this point I realized it was time to take my emerging interest to the next level and founded Ducas Capital Ltd, an equity research company whose main purpose is to educate people about finance through the analysis of companies.
Later, as an effort to expand on my quest to educate, I started an online stock market course called the Stock Market Investing for Beginners (click here to check it out ), which aims to help individuals gain a solid grasp of basic financial concepts. To target my generation, I launched a non-profit organization called the Global Youth Investors which works directly with investment clubs and high schools from around the world and provides them with materials to teach their members about the financial markets. With the help of Investopedia, GYIO also organizes an annual investing competition with virtual money.
